We are a Parent Partnership Program where parents of home schooled children and teachers from the Deer Park School District work together to define the educational goals and materials our parents and students use at home. The first session of Home Link started in September 2000 with 38 students. Today, we have over 500 students. We also provide core and enrichment classes at our Deer Park and Clayton campuses.

Woo Hoo!! Schools out for summer! Classes for 2007-2008 are complete at Home Link.

Classes are officially over for this school year at Home Link. Schooling continues at home for our students. Also, we have many activities scheduled this week at Home Link. Check the calendar for the event and times.

· Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduation, THIS Friday, May 30th at 7:00 pm in the Deer Park Gym
If you have signed your child up to participate in the Kindergarten and 8th grade graduation, please have them to the school by 6:45 pm.

· Resource Library:
All items must be retuned by May 30th. Kathy will be available to process summer check outs and fall holds from 9-3 on June 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Please do not take items without checking them out through her. Thank you!

· Around the World - End of the Year Fair! Tuesday, June 3rd 11 am – 2 pm
Two-story slides, rock climbing walls, snow cones, cotton candy, games, dance and drill performance, hamburgers and French fries and sooo much more!

o 10:30-11:00-Check in at the front desk to get your tickets for the food items (Cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, lunch-hamburgers & fries)
o 11:00- Rodeo Roping Competition on the back lawn
o 11:30-Dance and Drill performance in the gym
o 12:00-1:30-Lunch served in the gym
All Home Link families are welcome to join us for our last hurrah! All paper work must be turned in by this time. We can still use volunteers!

Graduation: Friday, June 6th, 7:00 at the Bing Crosby Theatre (901 W Sprague) Tickets are not required. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate with this year’s graduating class!

· ITBS Testing
June 9th – 12th starting at 9:00 each morning. We will try to be finished by noon each day. Pizza and pop on the last day!! You must be signed up to take the testing.

Ginny Beadle has offered to do individual testing during the first two weeks in June. Please call the front desk (468-3350) to schedule a time with her.
