Progress Reports for September were due September 20th. Please let your consultant know if you are having trouble getting onto our web site. You can always input from the computers at Home Link.
MAP TESTING WINDOW OPENS OCTOBER 2ND.
There is a sign up sheet in the main office to reserve the time most convenient for you. Testing is available Mondays and Fridays during the month of October. We are offering math, reading and language usage testing. You may choose which tests you would like your child to take. The tests are not timed - but usually take about an hour to take.
MAP INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS
If you would like to know more about the MAP test and even try one out (for fun!), we are offering informational meetings next week after school in the Deer Park computer lab. Meetings will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4:00 pm.
WALTER’S FRUIT RANCH FIELD TRIP – FRIDAY, OCT. 16 - 11:00 and 12:00
Our annual field trip to Greenbluff is coming up! Home Link will pay for Home Link students and one parent per family, but cannot pay for siblings. The cost for siblings is $5. Children under 2 years of age are free. We have two time slots. Please designate which time you will be attending, (either the 11:00 or 12:00), and list every person who will be attending. Check in is 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Gina will collect any money at that time. Please bring exact change. This is a great field trip for elementary age children. Because of limited space, we can only bring our Home Link families, not all of our friends and extended family members.
DID YOU MISS THE SCHOOL PICTURES?
Pauletto Photography has graciously offered a make-up day for Home Link school pictures. They will take pictures at their studio next Monday, Sept. 28th for anyone who missed the picture days. Call Jared Pauletto Photography to schedule your appointment. 363-1490.
LUNCH – WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO HAVE HOT LUNCH!!!!!
You may call the front desk before 9:00 am or e-mail us at hllunch@deerpark .wednet.edu. All breakfast and lunch information is on our web page. It also provides an easy way to add money to your child’s account. Please see Sharon if you want to set up a lunch account.
WE COULD USE A LITTLE HELP IN THE RESOURCE LIBRARY!
If you have some spare time between 9:00 and 2:00, Tuesday – Thursday, Kathy could use some help bar-coding over 6,000 items starting next week.
