MAP ASSESSMENT INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS
There will be a brief meeting each day after school this week (Tues, – Thurs.) in the Deer Park computer lab for those wishing to know more about the upcoming MAP assessment.
GERMS, BUGS AND KIDS!!!
Dr. Griffin, who practices in Deer Park and also has children in the Home Link program, has offered to spend some time with us answering health questions we may have. Dr. Griffin will be in the Mothers’ Room in Deer Park next Wednesday, Oct. 7th during 1st period (9:00 am). Please join us!!
ALEKS MATH
We have learned that you can get Aleks math more cheaply by ordering through Home Link rather than ordering on your own and submitting for reimbursement. The ordering process is a little confusing, so please talk to Sharon if you would like to order Aleks math. There are also instructions for ordering Aleks on our web page. (Thanks, Mike!)
BOOK-IT!!
It is time to sign up your K-6 grade students for the Book-It! program. This program runs for six months, from Oct.1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. You will receive an information sheet in your mailbox. Sign up in either library and you will receive your pizza coupons!
SCHOOL PICTURES ARE IN!!
Check your mailbox for your school pictures. Picture orders are due by Oct. 8th.
WALTER’S FRUIT RANCH FIELD TRIP – FRIDAY, Oct. 16th 11:00 – 12:00
Sign up for this fun fall field trip! It is great for elementary age children. Home Link pays for our students and one parent per family. Cost of additional siblings is $5. Please bring exact change. Children under 2 years of age are free. Please list every person who will be attending and indicate which time (11:00 or 12:00). Check in is 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Because of limited space, we can only bring our Home Link families, not all of our friends and extended family members.
RESOURCE LIBRARY
