GERMS, BUGS AND KIDS!!!
Join us this Wednesday at 9:00 am in the Mothers’ Room at Deer Park to learn how you can best protect your children during the flu season. Dr. Griffin will be there to answer any questions you may have about keeping your children healthy.
PICTURE PROOFS ARE DUE THIS WEEK – THURSDAY, OCT. 8TH !!!
IT MUST BE FALL - IT IS TIME TO PLAN FOR THE HARVEST PARTY!!
The Harvest Party is Thursday, Oct. 29th directly after school in the gym. We need volunteers to run the booths - and lots of candy! Parents, please sign up and volunteer an hour at a booth. There is a candy basket in the front office for donations of individually wrapped candy. All Home Link families are invited. No costumes, please. This is always a fun event for the entire family.
WALTERS’ FRUIT RANCH FIELD TRIP – Friday, Oct. 29th, 11:00 and 12:00
There are still a few slots available to attend this year’s trip to Greenbluff. Take a ride on the Fruit Loop Express, learn about the cider making process and pick a pumpkin. Home Link will pay for our students and one parent per family. The cost for siblings is $5. Those under 2 years of age are free. Please bring exact change and sign up each person that will be attending. Check in is 15 minutes prior to start time.
BOOK-IT!!
Don’t forget to sign up your K – 6 grade children for the Book-It! program. Sign up at either library to receive your pizza coupons.
RUNNING START CHANGES
Students now have to pay for their fees for Running Start (application, registration, tech and lab). However, if you qualify for free or reduced lunch, these fees will be waived. Tuition for Running Start students is still free.
FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH
Just a reminder that Home Link families are eligible for free and reduced lunches and that the amount needed to qualify has been lowered. The forms are by the bulletin board at the Deer Park office.
QUOTABLE QUOTE
