NO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 11TH IN HONOR OF VETERANS’ DAY Classes will resume on Thursday, November 12th.
NEW LOCATION FOR WEEKLY MEMO
Memos will now be placed at the front desk locations in Deer Park Home Link and Clayton. The memo will continue to be posted online at our Deer Park Home Link website.
THANKSGIVING BREAK IS ALMOST HERE
There will be no Home Link classes on Wednesday, November 25th. Classes will start again Monday, November 30th.
PROGRESS REPORT REMINDER
Don’t forget! Progress reports are due Friday, November 20th.
SIGN UP ONLINE
We can now sign up for Home Link events online. Go to the Deer Park Home Link website and choose “Events Sign Up”.
MAPS ASSESSMENT UPDATE
There are two more Fridays available for you to sign up online for the MAP. The MAP will be administered the next two Fridays in the Deer Park computer lab. Testing will continue after the winter break.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR MONDAY, DECEMBER 7TH
Signup online if you would like to be a vendor. Contact Kathy Starr (292-0111) if you have any donations.
WRITING CONTEST
Encourage those 9th-12th grade students to write an adventure story for the writing contest. This is a great opportunity to display their creativity and adventurous spirits! If you have any questions, see Charlotte McCoy in the library or call her at 481-3211. The deadline for turning in stories is December 10th.
